•If you would be a suitable candidate for a driving crash course (intensive course)
•You disagree with your previous instructor’s advice and would like a second opinion
• It’s been a long time since you’ve had a driving lesson but feel that you might be ready to take your driving test.
•If you’ve recently failed your driving test and need help understanding why you failed and what you can do to help fix your driving weaknesses.
What happens on a assessment driving lesson?
Firstly, One of our Golden Mile Driving School instructors will have a brief chat with you exploring your previous driving experience. It’s important you are honest with your instructor. The instructor will then pitch the lesson at an appropriate level suited to your driving experience. Aim and objectives will be used to help you achieve your goal. Throughout the lesson your instructor will make notes and give you instructions and informative feedback. At the end of the lesson your instructor will have a much clearer indication on how much more driving tuition would be required to get you to up to standard for the practical driving test.
Where you go on a driving assessment lesson?
Our driving school is based in Blackpool, so we assume you will have a driving test booked in Blackpool we cover all across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Your instructor will pick you up from your chosen location and usually keep your lesson fairly close to all the driving test routes. However, if your location is too far out from the test routes the assessment lesson can be conducted in any area, as long as we have ample time and the roads are diverse.
What happens after the assessment lesson?
Your driving instructor will give you feedback and then its up to you to decide where to go from there. We welcome new students so if you prefer to continue your lessons with us then we are more than happy for you to do this. Alternatively, you can take onboard our advice and go with another driving school or even do the driving test in your own car. The aim of the assessment lesson is to give you honest, constructive advice and to help you achieve your goal of fixing any faults, improving your driving skills and helping build your confidence behind the wheel. Some of our students prefer to book an additional lesson so they can practice a mock test. This can be arranged by speaking to your driving instructor.
